Radio Royal has been helping NHS Forth Valley's Manual Handling team with the creation of training materials. When they needed a bit of a hand with their video voiceovers, Manual Handling Trainer Jan Gordon got in touch with our own Training Manger, Ryan Miller, to see if anyone at Radio Royal could lend their skills. And of course we were happy to oblige!
"We at the Manual Handling Team are extremely grateful for the help Ryan has given us in making these recordings.
We are putting together a video of stills of a piece of equipment called Hover Matt and Hover Jack Air Lift and Transfer. We needed a voice over and tried to record on phones which was totally unsuccessful and thought about Radio Royal for a professional recording and right away Ryan offered to help.
The HoverJack kits are used throughout FVRH and the Community Hospitals for raising fallen patients from the floor as an alternative to using a hoist. We provide training for staff in how to use the kits but the video is going to go on the NHS Intranet as an overview for all NHS Staff to see.
We are hoping to get the video out in the very near future."
If you ever have a need for some audio work, and have links with NHS Forth Valley or other health organisations, why not get in touch
and see if we could help you?
