The technical gremlins got in the way of our usual live commentary from Falkirk FC this Saturday, but dedicated as ever, Matchday LIVE host Alan Paterson sent us this report...
On a chilly afternoon at the Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk sealed 3 points to move to within 1 point of league leaders Raith Rovers.
The performance was somewhat less convincing than the 4-0 margin might suggest as the Bairns struggled to take total control of the match until quite late on.
In the 12th minute Connor Sammon got on the end of a Louis Longridge cross and his glancing header finished up in the back of the net.
A David McMillan thunderbolt from 18 yards put the Bairns two up at the break.
The home side continued to struggle to break Peterhead down until the 58th minute when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on the corner of the penalty box. Connor Sammon stepped up, but his shot was saved. Louis Longridge saved his team mates blushes by netting the rebound.
Falkirk completed the scoring 6 minutes later when David McMillan found the net from the edge of the box.
