Radio Royals Christmas Roadshow 2011
Radio Royal will be returning to Stirling city centre at the roundel on Saturday 17th December 2011. The day will kick off at 10am right through til 5pm where the Radio Royal DJs will be taking to the stage providing you with Christmas songs and classics on the final shopping weekend before Christmas! We promise a fun filled day where you can request any song you like and Radio Royal hopes to hold competitions throughout the day where some generous prizes can be won. This year we are being ambitious and hoping to raise a massive £1,000! Any donations to help us achieve this goal is muchly appreciated. We hope to see you all there!
48 Hour sponsored broadcast!
Radio Royal will take part in a 48 hour sponsored broadcast to officially open their new studios at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The broadcast will begin at 19:00 on Friday the 22nd of October and finish on at 19:00 on Sunday the 24th of October. Each presenter will take a slot of 3 hours over the course of the 48 hours and no show will be pre-recorded.
Friday night will see as many presenters meeting the station's sponsors over the years. During the day on Saturday we are holding an open house for any hospital staff and visitors to the hospital to come along and see what goes on in the studio and during a live show.
