Radio Royal is always looking for enthusiastic people to join us. If you are partial to being locked away in a darkened room talking to yourself, or perhaps you think that you have an ability to listen to people, then this is the place for you.

In line with our New Volunteers Policy, you will join the Ward Visitors team for your first 3 months, after which you will be invited to join the Production Team. We currently have a large backlog of members wishing to start Presenter Training and spaces on this training programme are limited, but are prioritised to those who have become actively involved with the station.

Before you can present a programme you must go through our training programme, which includes working with our Ward Visitor and Production Teams, and producing a show for another presenter. By submitting your initial application you agree that as Radio Royal is a voluntary organisation you will not be paid for your services.
