Studio A

Studio A is one of our two on-air studios at Radio Royal. Studio A was the second of our studios to be renovated recently. It is currently the main on air studio. Most programmes you hear will be broadcast from Studio A.

Studio A is equipped with the following equipment:

  • 1 x Clyde Broadcast Products Eclipse Mixer
  • 1 x Intel based PC with Myriad playout software
  • 2 x Technics Turntables
  • 2 x Sony MDS-JE530 Minidisc decks
  • 2 x Denon DN-635 CD players
  • 1 x Sonifex HY-02 twin telephone hybrid
  • 1 x Audio Technica AT4033a presenter microphone
  • 2 x Guest microphones
  • 1 x Denon cassette deck

Studio A

Studio A

Studio A is our main on-air studio.

Studio B

Studio B is our recording studio, but can also be used for broadcasting when necessary. We have the ability to do split programming to each hospital in Falkirk & Stirling.

Studio C

Studio C is our training studio.

Our studios have recently been upgraded and new pictures are available via the links above.

Split Programming

Each studio can broadcast independently of the other to either Falkirk (headsets or AM), Stirling or both hospitals. This feature comes into its own for Patients' Choice programmes. Each hospital can have its own dedicated request show.

Split football commentary is currently broadcast on a weekly basis. At Radio Royal we currently cover every home Falkirk and Stirling Albion game.
