About Radio Royal

Forth Valley Broadcasting Service is the organisation behind Radio Royal. We are a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation no SC047488 registered with OSCR - the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Radio Royal is a 'Community Digital Sound Programme' licenced by Ofcom (CDP105007BA/1) to broadcast to the Forth Valley on DAB with the following key commitments:

Radio Royal is a station for service providers and users of the NHS in the Forth Valley area. The
service promotes a healthy lifestyle through specific messages and plays music from wide range of
musical genres and eras.

We broadcast from our studios based in Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.
